...the boy wonder
Having lived in Germany for about seven years you'd expect me to have picked up a bit of German. You'd be wrong. Even going into a MacDonalds in Osnabruck I freeze when they ask me the German for "is this a takeaway".
It's more annoying though when I'm explaining something to someone and instead of the English word, "umleitung" enters my head and never leaves. The one German word that I can never forget. And it means diversion. Luckily I never have to create a diversion so I should be ok.
